I looking for information what do you recommend regarding Mobile CMS commercial and free to build mobile websites or/and community?
Thank you in advance for any information!
Drupal is more appropriate as CMS and more flexible for building multiuser communities.
You might be also interested into mobile publishing clients. Wavelog from www.telewaving.mobi is able to post text, sound, photos and videos to web sites both powered by WordPress and Drupal.
I have been using Joomla for mobile for the last since it was still Mambo. I would have to say that Mambo/Joomla can be the most flexable CMS for mobile. The best thing about Joomla is the portability of components though the use of modules. Using modules just as you would a mobile deck/page. Using XML/RPC mambot allows you use modules to externally in mobile pages or widgets. I am also in the middle of a rebuild at www.txtpeeps.com using community builder and gallery plugins if anyone wants to give it a try.
I'm working on Wap-2-Go Mobile CMS, which is currently available as a dedicated Mobile platform for PHP-Nuke (and variants) CMS users. The framework is quickly expanding and I hope to launch not only Joomla compatibility, but also a standalone Wap-2-Go CMS as soon as possible - giving all webmasters the opportunity to deliver dynamic, device-specific, content to their visitors.
Designed for 'plug 'n' play' integration the platform is very easy to implement and delivers site content to mobile users customised to the user device, with image resizing and page styling performed server-side to minimise bandwidth for users.
Unfortunately I have been unable to get the demo site listed on the showcase (as I don't have it on a .mobi TLD), but if you are interested to find out more please pop-along to the project homepage.
If you would like more information, test the site or join the community and help in development, please visit the project homepage...
Aegis Mobile has developed a CMS that works across devices and platforms. It's UI is Droopl based and it allows you to manage content across over 300 devices but also target functionality and design at specific groups of devices based on parameters like function (GPS enabled, touch screen etc..) or user information.
CMS can use different platforms like Java, ASP.NET, PHP, Perl. From those that use PHP, according to php tutorial, most popular are Drupal,Mambo, PHP-Nuke, TYPO3, WordPress
There is a company named ATCOM from Greece which produces a proprietary enterprise solution called m-volution. It is a mobile content management and mobile marketing solution along with a bunch of other features and add-ons (such as widgets on the fly creation, seperate sms gateway, iphone and java sdk sub components) all packed under the same platform.
I second that, but then that's the only solution I've used, haven't tried anything else. I'm looking at seriously going into the mobile sphere and would like more tips and advice on this. I note the last post was 26 weeks ago so am hoping it will be kickstarted.

RE: qfuse.com
Hey there, Peter. If I may be so bold, allow me to toss my hat into the ring here and offer a mobile builder/CMS which I think rises above the rest (that I've tried anyway). It's much more easy-to-use and "web 2.0" than all the other big ones I've found. Plus for the money I can't find one better as... it's FREE! :-)
Anyway - IMO the best tool out there is called Qfuse - and it's a mobile website builder/CMS AND also a QR Code Generator which links to the mobile website you create. Obviously it's all about experience, flexibility of UI, and personal opinion...so that's my $0.02.
The platform also serves to provide some analytics around number of times the site is viewed and the QR code scanned. So a pretty cool service overall -- especially since, again, it's FREE. They also have a pretty cool cartoon video on the homepage showing how the site works. Check out the platform at www.qfuse.com.
There is a new Mobile CMS atnetobjects.mobi that is worth a test drive if you're looking for a simple drag and drop solution. It's geared to help small to medium sized businesses get a mobile website up and running quickly without any prior coding knowledge.
I'm a co-developer of the platform, so I'm definitely a fan. Give it a try, after all it's FREE to get started :)

Depending on what you want to do I would recommend:
Use Wordpress if you just want to blog. There are quite a few mobile extensions for wordpress.
Use Drupal if you want a full content management system. There is an article on dev.mobi that describes how to make a drupal site mobile

The Drupal article can be found here. It describes how to make a Drupal site mobile accessible.
